Welcome to the AACN Faculty (full-time) and Doctoral Student Roster Survey!

AACN Faculty and Doctoral Student Roster System collects, maintains, and updates records of full-time faculty in baccalaureate and graduate programs in nursing. It also collects records of doctoral nursing students. The data collected will help the nursing educational community and government agencies address serious issues related to nursing faculty shortage. The system also provides participating schools with an on-line tool to:

• Generate aggregate statistics on the distribution of full-time faculty by rank, tenure, degree, race/ethnicity, or gender for selected schools.
• Search for faculty members of other nursing schools. A faculty listing generated by a search includes last name, first name, degree, rank, and school.
• Search for alumni of a school's master or doctoral program who are currently faculty members of other nursing schools.
• Use the on-line data system to manage a school's faculty records as the system is available throughout the year.

To protect individual privacy, all individual-level information of a faculty member, except for names, degree, rank, and school, will be treated as restricted and can be accessed by her/his school only. All individual-level information of a doctoral student, including names, will be treated as restricted and can be accessed by the student's school only.
